Chris has been with ISU-CIRAS since 2013 and is the Technology Assistance Program (TAP) Director. This program provides technical assistance to Iowa companies. Prior to joining ISU, he worked in the appliance and defense industries for 26 years in a variety of manufacturing, purchasing, quality, project and program management roles for both domestic and international projects. He spent his last 7 years in industry leading new product development programs for one of the world’s largest appliance manufactures, with responsibility for design, manufacturing, and quality. He has work with companies from around the world to resolve cost, timing, and quality issues. Chris holds numerous American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications, a BSI Lead Auditor certification, along with numerous domestic and foreign patents.
